Overview
We are seeking a friendly and attentive Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional guest service, ensure food safety and sanitation standards, and create a welcoming atmosphere for all customers. This role offers an opportunity to develop hospitality skills within a fast-paced food service environment, utilizing your experience in customer service, food handling, and restaurant operations. The Server will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, handling cash transactions, and upselling menu items to enhance guest satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders.
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
- Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures are followed at all times
- Manage cash handling and cashiering duties accurately during transactions
- Upsell menu items to increase sales opportunities while ensuring guest preferences are prioritized
- Maintain the cleanliness of tables, dining areas, and service stations in compliance with sanitation standards
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and resolve any issues promptly
- Assist in setting up dining areas for service and closing procedures at the end of shifts
- Provide guest services that enhance the overall dining experience, including addressing special requests or concerns
