We are currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Senior Project Estimator to join our dynamic team.
Position Overview:
As a Senior Project Estimator at NV Piping Systems Inc., you will play a critical role in our project management team, providing accurate and comprehensive cost estimates for a variety of stainless-steel piping projects. Your expertise will help ensure the successful planning and execution of projects while maintaining our standards of quality and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze project requirements, specifications, and drawings to develop detailed cost estimates.
- Prepare and submit bid proposals for various stainless steel piping projects.
- Communicate with clients to clarify project details and address any questions or concerns.
- Review and compare vendor and subcontractor quotes to ensure competitiveness and compliance with project requirements.
- Track and analyze project costs to provide insights for future estimates and improve accuracy.
- Support the project management team throughout the project lifecycle, from initial estimation to project completion.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support overall project success.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Construction Management, or a related field would be considered an asset.
- 2-5 years of experience in project estimation, preferably in the stainless steel or piping fabrication industry.
- Strong knowledge of construction and fabrication processes, materials, and methods.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Excellent analytical and mathematical skills, with keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
- Familiarity with industry standards, codes, and regulations related to stainless steel piping fabrication.
