Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Carpenter to assist our restoration team for a temporary position with flexible working hours. The ideal candidate will have experience in carpentry and the use of various hand and power tools. This role involves working on diverse projects including stairs, decks, and fascia. The successful candidate will contribute to high-quality construction and restoration projects, ensuring safety, precision, and efficiency on every job site.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret schematics and/or technical drawings to accurately execute project plans
- Install siding, framing, and other structural components using hand tools and power tools
- Utilize woodworking skills for custom carpentry tasks and project modifications
- Handle heavy lifting safely to move materials or equipment around the job site
- Assist in restoration projects by repairing or rebuilding damaged structures
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and productivity
Experience
- Familiarity with schematics and technical drawings
- Skilled in the use of hand tools and power tools
- Knowledge of concrete finishing techniques and concrete forming processes would be an asset
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently for extended periods
- Prior experience with woodworking is preferred
- Strong understanding of safety protocols related to construction activities

Pay: $21.36-$35.00 per hour
