Job Summary
We are seeking a creative, passionate, and patient Afterschool Art Workshop Instructor to lead fun, hands-on art workshops for students in Grades K–8. The ideal candidate has experience working with children and a strong background in basic art teaching.

Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and lead engaging, hands-on art workshops tailored for young learners.
- Teach techniques using a variety of mediums, including painting, drawing and sketching.
- Foster a supportive, encouraging, and relaxed creative environment.
- Organize, set up, and clean up materials before and after each workshop.
- Maintain a safe, positive, and respectful atmosphere for all participants.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Art Education, Fine Arts, or a related field (preferred).
- Ability to work in both North York and Markham locations.
- Strong technical skills in at least two of the following: Marker, Sketching and drawing.
- Previous experience leading workshops or teaching children in an art setting (highly desirable).
- Ability to plan flexible, age-appropriate activities that adapt to different skill levels and learning styles.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- A portfolio showcasing personal artwork (samples of previous student work are a plus).
- Passion for nurturing creativity in young learners.
- Reliable transportation to travel to workshop sites.
- Patient, energetic, and positive attitude.
