We are looking for passionate restaurant Dishwasher/ Kitchen helper at our Mississauga location.
Roles and Responsibilities.
· Washing, drying, and putting away all dishes and kitchen utensils
· Mopping and sweeping the kitchen
· Taking out the garbage and replacing garbage bags
· Helping cooks prepare for meals by washing, cutting, peeling, and slicing ingredients
· Packing takeout orders for customers, as needed
· Unloading food supplies from delivery trucks
· Giving order slips to kitchen department when necessary
· Refilling condiments or other supplies at tables
Skills/ Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Must have knowledge of Indian food and spices
- Willing to learn and work in a fast-paced Restaurant environment
- Experience in helping the kitchen settings would be an asset
- Training can be provided for interested candidates.
- The ability to stand for extended periods of time.
- The ability to safely use kitchen equipment and appliances.
- Sound knowledge of food safety standards and procedures.
- Strong communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Language: Proficiency in English, Hindi, Urdu and/or Punjabi
