Job Title: Quality Lab Technician (Day & Afternoon Shifts)
Location: Peel Region, ON
Job Type: Temporary to Permanent
Salary: $22.00–$23.00/hour (Based on Experience)
Shift Availability:
- Day Shift: 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
- Afternoon Shift: 3:00 p.m. – 11:30 p.m.

Our client is currently seeking Quality Lab Technicians.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Execute laboratory testing and verification activities to support product quality and compliance
- Conduct assessments on incoming materials, in-process items, and finished products
- Assemble and prepare samples in accordance with defined laboratory procedures
- Draft, revise, and maintain laboratory documentation, including procedures and work guides
- Train and assist quality personnel and production inspectors as required
- Utilize precision measurement and testing equipment to validate product specifications
- Perform measurement accuracy studies to ensure reliability of inspection results
- Record, interpret, and trend testing data using Excel and statistical analysis tools
- Generate technical reports and certification documentation
- Maintain laboratory instruments, calibration status, and supply inventory
- Provide ongoing support to quality assurance and manufacturing teams

- Follow and promote all workplace safety practices and regulatory requirements
- Contribute to a clean, organized, and compliant laboratory environment
Qualifications:
- Diploma in Engineering, Technology, or a related discipline, or equivalent hands-on quality experience
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively in a team-based manufacturing setting
- Working knowledge of measurement systems (Metric and Imperial)
- Proficient with Microsoft Office; advanced Excel skills preferred
- Experience with statistical software (e.g., Minitab) or ERP systems (SAP) is an asset
- Exposure to continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, 5S, Six Sigma) considered an advantage
- Physically capable of performing hands-on testing tasks, including lifting and use of powered tools
