Customer Service Representative (Label Printing Industry)

About the Opportunity
Our client, a well-established and growing label printing company, is currently seeking an experienced Customer Service Representative (CSR) to join their team. This position is ideal for someone who has previous experience within the label printing industry and enjoys building strong customer relationships while coordinating projects from order placement through final delivery.
As the primary point of contact for customers, you will play a key role in ensuring orders are processed accurately, production timelines are met, and customers receive exceptional service throughout the entire process.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the main point of contact for customers regarding label printing orders and inquiries
- Process and enter customer orders accurately into the company system
- Coordinate closely with Production, Prepress, Scheduling, and Shipping teams to ensure orders are completed on time
- Monitor order progress and proactively communicate updates, changes, delays, or potential issues to customers
- Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints
- Review artwork, specifications, and order requirements to ensure accuracy
- Maintain detailed customer records, notes, and order documentation
- Assist with quotations, order revisions, and customer follow-ups as required
- Support internal departments by providing accurate order information and customer expectations
- Ensure all work complies with company quality standards and customer requirements
Qualifications
- Previous experience working for a label printing company is required
- Strong understanding of label printing processes, materials, and industry terminology
- Experience managing customer orders from initial request through production and delivery
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Ability to prioritize multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and order entry systems
- Strong problem-solving and customer service skills
Preferred Experience
Experience working with:
- Flexographic printing
- Digital label printing
- Packaging labels
- Product labels
- Barcode and compliance labels
- Artwork approval and proofing processes
