We are seeking a temporary part-time (0.85 FTE) educational assistant to provide child support in an inclusive setting.
Desired qualifications include the following:

Experience working with students in one-on-one, small group, and inclusive classroom settings.

Demonstrated ability to build relationships with students and staff.

Experience and training in working with children with diverse learning needs.

Experience working with children with diverse physical needs and challenging behaviours.

Experience in working collaboratively with a Learning Support Team.

NVCI and/or SIVA training would be an asset.

Educational Assistant certification and/or Health Care Aide certification or equivalent.

Knowledge of American Sign Language and/or Assistive Technology is an asset.

Physically fit and able to keep up with the demands of working with students with a variety of complex needs.
The start date will be August 26th, 2026. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
