Job Summary
Dental Office in White rock is seeking a professional and organized Dental Receptionist to join our new built dental practice. The ideal Dental Receptionist should enjoy working collaboratively with other team members and strive to organize, implement systems and structure and ensure the practice runs efficiently.
Position requires ability to exercise independent judgement as it pertains to schedule management and patient interaction. The Dental Receptionist will play a vital role in ensuring smooth patient flow, accurate record-keeping, and excellent customer service in a dental office setting.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Dental Receptionist or in a similar role
- Familiarity with dental office procedures and terminology
- Proficiency in using phone systems and office software, including Tracker
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Knowledge of electronic Dental records systems (CDANet)
- Experience working in a Dental office environment is a plus
- Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly demeanor
- Office experience including front desk responsibilities and administrative support roles
- Familiarity with electronic medical records systems and general office equipment
- Respectful and great customer service etiquette.
Duties
- Greet patients warmly and professionally upon arrival and departure
- Schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments efficiently using Tracker
- Manage multi-line phone systems to answer inquiries, direct calls, and handle appointment requests
- Verify patient insurance information, manage insurance submissions and preauthorizations
- Collect payments, co-pays, and process billing transactions accurately
- Maintain organized patient records in electronic medical records systems
- Assist with patient check-in and check-out procedures at the front desk
- Coordinating treatment schedules and recalls
- Processing payments and maintaining accurate patient records
- Communicate effectively with dental team members regarding patient needs and appointment details
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain confidentiality of patient information
- Perform administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and data entry to support daily office operations
- Communicating professionally with patients and team members
- Office experience including front desk responsibilities and administrative support roles
Pay: $30.00-$35.00 per hour
