York Regional Traffic Services is looking for dedicated dispatchers to join our team. We are a rapidly growing Towing & Transport company providing roadside assistance in the GTA.
The position is for a part-time shift for Saturday and Sunday from 8:00am to 8:00pm
The focus of this role is to exceed the customer and company requirements for Customer Service, Quality, and Efficiency.
Attendance and punctuality are essential!
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Responsible communication with our clients, developing relationships in order to maintain a strong bond
- Answering inquiries from inbound calls from clients looking for vehicles impounded and assist customers at the front counter coming to pick up their vehicles
- Open communication with fellow call takers, dispatchers and management
- Effectively plan and prioritize all calls making the best use of equipment and drivers while meeting service expectation levels.
- Provide continuous monitoring of all drivers and equipment, ensuring accurate recording of times and clearing
- Dispatch personnel according to written schedules and work orders, or as required by emergency situations
- Remain calm, collected and able to remain like that under pressure

Job Duties:
- Dispatch personnel according to written schedules and work orders, or as required by emergency situations
- Maintain contact with drivers throughout their shifts and address any routing issues they might have
- Monitor road conditions, construction zones, and accidents in order to revise routes as needed
- Update customers on the status of their calls including any delays that occur
- Other duties as requested
