Behavioural Interventionist Needed
We are looking for a Behavioural Interventionist to join our team on Wednesdays and Fridays from 9:00 AM–11:00 AM.
The successful candidate will have experience working with nonverbal autistic children ages 3–5 and be comfortable supporting communication through TouchChat AAC.
This role includes community-based learning opportunities, so applicants should be confident taking a child on outings to local parks and supporting engagement in natural environments as part of their programming.
The ideal candidate will also be comfortable with
-AAC implementation using TouchChat• Play-based learning and skill development
-Diapering and toileting support• Potty training programs
- Following behaviour and communication goals
-Working collaboratively with the child’s therapy team and family
Experience with autism, AAC, and early intervention is a must.
