Overview
We are seeking a skilled Appliance Technician to join our team, providing expert repair and maintenance services for a wide range of household and commercial appliances. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, excellent customer service abilities, and a keen eye for detail. Duties
- Diagnose and repair various appliances including refrigerators, washers, dryers, ovens, and dishwashers.
- Use schematics and technical manuals to identify faults and determine appropriate repair procedures.
- Perform electrical and mechanical repairs, ensuring appliances operate safely and efficiently.
- Assemble new appliances or replace parts as needed, following manufacturer specifications.
- Conduct routine maintenance to prevent future breakdowns and extend appliance lifespan.
- Provide exceptional customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs performed and parts used for each service call.
- Adhere to safety protocols and industry standards during all repair activities.
Skills
- Strong electrical experience with the ability to interpret electrical schematics.
- Mechanical knowledge related to appliance components and systems.
- Proven appliance repair skills across various brands and models.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
- Ability to read and understand schematics, technical manuals, and diagrams.
- Sealed system knowledge is a plus, especially for refrigeration units.
- Experience with assembly of appliances or related equipment is desirable.
- Problem-solving skills with a focus on troubleshooting complex issues efficiently. Pay: $19.35-$25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30.0 – 55.0 per week
