Job Overview
CGD Roofing Inc. is a Barrie-based metal roofing and exterior finishing company hiring a reliable labourer to join our crew immediately. You'll be working alongside experienced metal roofers on residential and commercial metal roofing projects across Simcoe County and Muskoka. This is hands-on, physical work — steep slopes, sheet metal, and exterior trim. We take safety seriously and expect you to as well.
Duties
Valid Working at Heights certification (Ontario)
- Comfortable working on steep-slope roofs, safely
- Physically fit and able to work outdoors in all weather
- Reliable transportation — must be able to meet at our shop (951 Penetanguishene Rd, Barrie) or travel to job sites locally
- Steel-toed boots and basic PPE
- Sometimes long days
Requirements
- Sheet metal experience (cutting, bending, fastening) is a asset
- Prior metal roofing or standing seam experience is a asset
- Experience with exterior finishing — trim, flashing, eavestroughs is a asset
- Working at Heights Training Completed and valid
- Valid driver's license (G or above), or transportation to meet at the shop daily
