OPERATIONS COORDINATOR
ROLE
Surerus is looking to hire an Operations Coordinator in our Fort St. John Shop . The Operations Coordinator supports the day-to-day operations of the Fort St John shops and yard by coordinating maintenance schedules, supporting inventory and parts flow, and ensuring communication between technicians, management, and vendors. This role is critical to maintaining workflow efficiency, and supporting safe, compliant operations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain maintenance logs, service records and compliance documentation
- Schedule external repairs, inspections and specialized services
- Ensure required inspections and certifications are completed
- Collaborate with mechanics to anticipate parts needs
- Liaise with purchasing to ensure parts orders are placed in a timely manner aligned with the work order and schedule
- Support operations manager in planning for mobilization and de-mobilization of equipment for projects and equipment rentals
- Follow and maintain Company standards in accordance with Quality, Health, Safety & Environment requirements
- Recommend and implement improvements to internal processes and controls
- Liaise and collaborate within operations, partner companies, and corporate support functions as required
Note: In addition to these duties personnel are required to carry out such other duties as may be reasonably required in order to support the objectives of the company.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- Post secondary education or Trade in a related field
- Other combinations of experience and education may be considered
- Valid class 5 driver’s license and clean driving record
- Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 50 lbs
Experience
- 3+ years of experience within a similar position.

WORKING CONDITIONS
This position is shop based and is located at our Fort St John location.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
The pay range for this position is $40.00-$50.00 per hour. We will consider factors including previous experience, education, skills and internal equity when determining placement within this range. In addition, we provide a comprehensive benefits package including extended health, dental and disability insurance, RRSP matching, and staff events.
REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS
The Operations Coordinator reports to the Operations Manager
