We’re looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Battery Production Technician to join our team in Mississauga. Reporting to the
Head of Battery Production, this hands-on role is part of a team that focuses on assembling, testing, inspecting, and preparing lithium-ion battery systems used to power advanced robotic technologies.

Assemble lithium-ion battery packs according to technical specifications and work instructions.

Perform spot welding, soldering, crimping, wiring, and battery pack integration.

Conduct electrical testing, including voltage, resistance, continuity, and functionality verification.

Inspect battery packs and components to ensure quality, accuracy, and compliance with production standards.

Label, package, and prepare completed products for shipment.

Maintain accurate production, testing, and inspection records.

Follow established safety procedures when handling batteries, electrical equipment, and production tools.

Keep the production area clean, organized, and operating efficiently.

Assist with inventory management, material preparation, and other production support activities.

Support continuous improvement initiatives that enhance quality, safety, and operational efficiency.

Soldering experience.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.

Ability to read and follow assembly instructions, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.

Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment.

Basic computer skills for recording production and testing data.

Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Dependable, organized, and safety-conscious.

Previous experience in electronics assembly, battery manufacturing, or a related production environment.

Experience working with lithium-ion batteries.

Familiarity with electrical testing equipment and quality inspection processes.

Experience in aerospace, robotics, automotive, or advanced manufacturing environments.
