Job Summary
Seeking committed general labourers on a beef feedlot. Various agricultural tasks are completed daily.
Duties
- Maintaining livestock herd health which includes routine pen walk throughs, processing, medication administration, etc.
- Cleaning and maintaining farm grounds and barns.
- Perform heavy lifting tasks at times, including moving materials in the barns.
- Utilize power tools and hand tools for various farming activities.
- Follow safety protocols while operating heavy equipment and handling tools.
- Assisting fellow employees where needed
- Other duties as required
Skills & Competencies
- Agriculture and livestock experience.
- Ability to follow instructions appropriately and accurately.
- Can communicate well.
- self motivated and work independently
Education, experience & requirements
- Minimum 1-3 years of agricultural experience required.
- Experience operating farming equipment required.
- Drivers license and access to personal transportation required.
