About the role We're hiring welders/fabricators for [shop/site] work in Langley. You'll be working on [structural steel / pressure vessels / modular fabrication / pipe.] Day shift, full hours, long-term opportunity for the right person.
What you'll be doing
- Reading blueprints and weld symbols
- Fitting and tacking up assemblies
- Welding to spec—clean, straight, passes inspection first time
- Grinding, finishing, and prepping work for QC
- Keeping your bay tidy and your gear sharp
Must-haves
- Red Seal Welder ticket or equivalent journeyperson credentials
- CWB certification (current)
- Proficient in FCAW and GMAW; SMAW an asset
- Able to read shop drawings and weld symbols
- Own hood, gloves, grinder, and hand tools
- CSA-approved boots and safety gear
Nice-to-haves
- A-B-C-Pressure ticket
- GTAW (TIG) experience on stainless or aluminum
- All-position experience
- Overhead crane and forklift tickets
- Confined space and fall protection
What we offer
- $(35-60)/hr depending on experience and tickets
