Smartwork Electrical is a growing electrical contracting company known for delivering high-quality work on commercial projects. We are looking for an experienced Electrical Apprentice who is ready to take the next step in their career and grow with a long-term, stable team.
As an Electrical Apprentice with 2–3 years of experience, you will support our journeymen and project teams on various commercial projects. The ideal candidate is motivated, reliable, safety-focused, and eager to build a long-term future with us.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with installation, repair, and maintenance of electrical systems on commercial job sites
- Pull wire, install conduits, panels, fixtures, and devices
- Read and interpret drawings, specs, and work plans
- Support Journeyman Electricians and follow all safety procedures
- Maintain proper tools, equipment, and a clean work area
- Contribute to project timelines and ensure high-quality workmanship
Qualifications:
- 2–3 years of electrical apprenticeship experience (required)
- Experience on commercial projects strongly preferred
- Enrollment in an electrical apprenticeship program (Level 2 or Level 3 is an asset)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn
- Valid driver’s licence and access to reliable transportation
- Must have basic hand tools and PPE
