Empire Motel, close to Skaha Lake Beach , Penticton, BC, Canada , is hiring all the positions of housekeepers, part time, casual, on call; part time positions may lead to full time during summer season; all positions need to start as soon as possible.
We are seeking hardworking, reliable, energetic employees to join our management team. Housekeeping experience is not required, we will provide full training and competitive wage.
Job Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
- Change all used beddings and towels, make beds and freshen linens, stock supplies for rooms as needed;
- Clean guest rooms: vacuum and wet mop hard floor; dust; clean all furniture and small appliances, mirrors, bathrooms (tub, sink, toilet and tiles), kitchen and counter, interior windows and doors and panels and sills; empty wastebaskets .
- Regularly check if room fixtures, lighting and appliances are in working order and report problems to the front desk to request the maintenance
- Reports all articles left behind by guests
- perform other duties as required
Skills and requirements:
- Previous experience is an asset, but not required. We will fully train all the new employees
- detail oriented, efficient and time management
- Punctuality, responsibility and integrity

Wage: starting $18/hour, up to $20/hour with experience;
