SkilledReady is currently hiring hardworking Construction General Labourers to assist with residential demolition projects. This role involves interior demolition, site cleanup, material removal, and preparing homes for renovation.
This is a physically demanding position requiring individuals who are reliable, safety-conscious, and comfortable working with hand and power tools.
Responsibilities
- Remove drywall, insulation, subflooring, flooring, trim, cabinets, and other building materials.
- Safely perform interior demolition using hand and power tools.
- Load and dispose of demolition debris into bins or trailers.
- Keep the worksite clean, organized, and safe.
- Follow all health and safety procedures.
- Work effectively with supervisors and other crew members.
- Perform other general labour duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Previous construction or demolition experience is considered an asset.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Comfortable performing physically demanding work throughout the day.
- CSA-approved safety boots are required.
- Hard hat, safety glasses, and high-visibility vest are required (or willingness to obtain).
- Reliable transportation to job sites is preferred.
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Pay: $19.00-$20.00 per hour
