Terra Torque is looking for an experienced Administrative Assistant to support our day-to-day office operations on a part-time basis (approximately 20–30 hours per week/Mon-Fri). This is a hands-on role that covers a range of office responsibilities, and we are looking for someone who can handle a varied workload with a professional attitude. Hours are generally flexible in terms of scheduling and days worked, though some weeks will require availability on specific days.
Responsibilities
- Answer and direct phone calls in a professional manner
- Manage emails, correspondence, and scheduling
- Process and track payments for storage units and maintain accurate payment records
- Order and maintain office supplies
- Perform general filing, data entry, and document preparation
- Provide front desk and reception support as needed
- Assist with day-to-day administrative tasks as they arise
Qualifications
- Previous experience in an administrative or office support role required
- Proficient in Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Professional communication skills, both written and verbal
- Comfortable working in a straightforward, no-fuss work environment
- Able to adapt to shifting priorities and take direction without taking things personally
- Experience with payment processing or basic bookkeeping is an asset
- Reliable and punctual with a consistent attendance record
- Able to handle confidential information with discretion
- Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision
- Comfortable learning new software and systems as needed
- Physically capable of occasional lifting and light physical tasks
Pay: $22.00-$28.00 per hour
