Who we are
We design and manufacture aftermarket parts for trucks and SUVs. Two product lines today:
- DashSkinz — replacement dash faceplates, LED upgrades, and lens covers for '92–'96 Ford F-Series and Broncos
- HyperVolt — factory-fit MagSafe phone chargers for 2014–2018 GMC and Chevy trucks (with more vehicle applications launching soon)
We're a small, fast-growing shop. We're moving into a new facility this month and rolling out one-piece-flow manufacturing.
The role
We're hiring someone who actually likes making things with their hands. You'll run our 3D printer farm, plotters, and laser cutters; assemble HyperVolt chargers; and get customer orders out the door to truck owners across North America.
If you take pride in doing repetitive work well — the kind of person who notices the small thing that's off, who can't stand a messy workbench, who'd rather do one thing perfectly than five things sloppily — you're the person we want.
This isn't a stepping-stone role to something else. It's for someone who genuinely enjoys the rhythm of focused, hands-on production.
What you'll do
- Assemble HyperVolt phone chargers from prepped components, following our work instructions
- Run our 3D printer farm — load jobs, change filament, monitor prints, post-process parts
- Operate the laser cutter and plotter for dash skins and product components
- Inspect every finished product for quality before it gets packaged — you're the last line of defense before it ships
- Pack and ship customer orders — labels, inserts, branded packaging, the works
- Keep machines maintained — clean print beds, swap nozzles, change blades, clean laser optics on a schedule
- Track production output, flag issues, restock supplies as they get low
- Keep your work area clean, organized, and ready for the next day
- Follow our SOPs and help us improve them as you learn the work
What we're looking for
- You actually like repetitive, focused work and find satisfaction in doing it well
- Extremely high attention to detail — you notice the seam that's not quite right, the misaligned label, the print that's 0.2mm off
- Highly organized — your workspace stays tidy without anyone reminding you
- High standards — you wouldn't ship something you wouldn't want to receive yourself
- Reliable and punctual — you show up when you say you will, every time
- Comfortable with your hands — hand tools, measuring tools, and small assembly fixtures don't intimidate you
- Trainable — you don't need to know our specific machines yet; you bring the work ethic and willingness to learn
- Basic computer comfort — order systems, slicer software, shipping labels, simple spreadsheets
Bonus points
- Lean manufacturing experience or knowledge — 5S, kanban, one-piece-flow, Toyota Production System concepts. We're building toward this and you'd be a part of shaping it
- Previous experience running 3D printers, laser cutters, vinyl plotters, or similar shop equipment
- Background in manufacturing, fabrication, custom shop work, or skilled trades
- Experience with shipping logistics (Canada Post, UPS, USPS, ShipStation, etc.)
- Mechanical aptitude for routine machine maintenance
Physical & schedule notes
- You'll be on your feet most of the day with periods of focused bench work
- Light lifting (under 30 lbs) is part of the role — packaging, supplies, finished goods
- Standard shop hours; flexibility on schedule if you're part-time
The setup
- In-person at our new Lethbridge facility
- Flexible hours — part-time or full-time depending on the person. Hourly for part-time, salary for full-time. [insert range, e.g. $18–$25/hr or $40–$50k CAD full-time depending on experience]
- Founder-led, small team, no bureaucracy
- Real impact — you'll see the units you assembled this week being installed in customer trucks across the country within a few weeks
How to apply
Email [email protected] with:
- A 30-second video introducing yourself. Tell us about a job, project, or hobby where you did detail-oriented or repetitive work, and what you enjoyed about it. Phone camera is fine — we care about who you are, not the production quality.
- A short note about your work history — what you've done, what kind of environments you've thrived in, why this role interests you.
Resumes are welcome. The video matters more.
