Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Pizza Maker to join our team at Creekside RnR's restaurant in Cocagne, NB. This role is vital in delivering delicious, high-quality pizzas that enhance our guests' outdoor experience and uphold our commitment to excellent hospitality. Located in the scenic town of Cocagne, this position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a woodfired oven in a beautiful natural setting.
Responsibilities
- Prepare pizza dough, sauces, and toppings according to recipes and standards.
- Operate and manage a wood-fired pizza oven safely and efficiently.
- Stretch, top, and cook pizzas to ensure consistent quality and presentation.
- Monitor oven temperatures and cooking times.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work area.
- Assist with food preparation and kitchen duties as required.
- Follow all food safety and health regulations.
- Work collaboratively with kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure excellent customer service.
- Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Pizza Maker, Cook, or in a similar kitchen role preferred.
- Experience with wood-fired ovens is an asset, but not compulsory. Training will be provided for the right candidate.
- Knowledge of food handling and food safety practices.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
