Job Summary
Seeking an enthusiastic and engaging Early Childhood Music Educator to join our team. This role combines musicianship and early childhood education to create joyful, movement-based music experiences for children ages 0–7. We are looking for someone who loves working with young children, enjoys singing and performing, and believes in fostering confidence, creativity, and a lifelong love of music.
Duties
- Teach group music classes for children ages 0–7 using our curriculum.
- Lead students through singing, movement, rhythm activities, storytelling, and instrument exploration.
- Create a warm, welcoming, and engaging classroom environment.
- Encourage participation, confidence, and positive social interactions.
- Communicate professionally with parents and caregivers.
- Track attendance and provide occasional progress updates.
- Prepare materials and maintain an organized classroom.
- Participate in concerts, performances, and special events throughout the year.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to support students and families.
- Adapt lessons to meet the needs of different learning styles and developmental stages.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working with children ages 0–7 in a classroom, daycare, camp, music school, or similar setting.
- Sense of pitch and rhythm with the ability to sing simple songs.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- Positive, energetic, and engaging personality.
- Ability to lead movement-based and interactive classes.
- Professional, reliable, and punctual.
- Availability to work weekday mornings, evenings, and weekends.
Pay: $17.60-$30.00 per hour
