General Contractor seeking experienced carpenters with diverse skill set in structural framing and finish carpentry. Roofing experience a plus.
Must have 3-5 Years of construction carpentry experience.
Commercial construction experience is an asset.
Position Description: General Carpenter/interior finisher ensure the final aesthetic quality of a building, requiring a high level of craftsmanship and attention to detail. An interior finisher/ finish carpenter performs the final, detailed, and cosmetic construction work inside residential and commercial buildings.Our ideal candidate is experienced, responsible, and team-focused.
Responsibilities
Trim & Carpentry: Install trim items like crown mouldings, baseboards, window casings, and doors.
Cabinetry & Fixtures: install, and adjust kitchen cabinets, vanities, and built-in shelving.
Flooring: Install various flooring materials, including hardwood and laminate.
Drywall Finishing: Apply drywall compound (mudding), tape joints, and sand surfaces to a smooth, seamless finish.
Structural Details: Install stairs, handrails, and perform light framing or renovation tasks.
Site Preparation: Measure, cut, and shape materials (wood, metal, etc.) using tools like saws, drills, and nail guns, adhering to building codes.
The Candidate we are looking for will have the following Qualifications
3-5 Years of construction carpentry experience.
Technical Skills: Ability to read blueprints, sketches, and building plans.
Detail-Oriented: Strong precision for accurate measurements and a polished look.
Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, bend, and lift materials for extended periods.
Knowledge of the latest building codes and asset.
Confidence to thrive under pressure
Professional demeanor and attitude
CPR and First Aid Certification an (asset)
Must have a valid driver’s license and be willing to travel as needed

Pay: $23.00-$25.00 per hour
