We are seeking a dedicated and energetic shaker to join our team. Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of food and beverage items, including shakes, smoothies, and other menu offerings
- Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, accurately handling cash and card transactions
- Provide exceptional customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and ensuring customer satisfaction
- Handle food with care following proper food safety and handling procedures
- Manage time effectively to serve customers promptly during busy periods
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including food preparation stations and dining spaces
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as ingredient assembly and portioning
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and health standards at all times
- Support team members as needed to ensure smooth operation during shifts
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food industry roles such as barista, server, or cashier is preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems, especially Micros POS, is advantageous
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional attitude
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and order calculations
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Food preparation experience is a plus but not required; training will be provided for specific duties
