Warehouse Forklift/Reach Truck Operator Job Listing
Our innovative and growing logistics company in Edmonton’s West end is searching for experienced, safety-conscious candidates for the position of warehouse Reach Truck/Forklift operator. The ideal candidate will be proficient in operating Crown reach trucks and other heavy equipment to facilitate the movement of product and materials within the warehouse.

· Works within the warehouse operations during his/her shift, focusing on improving productivity and effective one on one communications.
· Works within the warehouse operations to ensure all related warehouse/shipping documents including but not limited to Warehouse Receipts, Bills of Lading, Relocation, Damage and Re-stenciling forms are completed in an accurate, legible and timely manner.
· Works within the warehouse operations to ensure that company procedures including but not limited to ISO certification and safety are implemented and adhered to. For example, Health & Safety and Forklift Checklist Reports & procedures.
· Works within the warehouse operations to ensure the work environment, production equipment and building envelope in the production area are monitored & maintained thereby providing for a positive workplace.
· Operates all warehouse/shipping department equipment including rolling stock as required in a safe, productive manner.
· Minimum high-school diploma
· Be at least 18 years of age
· Must have previous experience of at least 2 years.
· Certification of a lift-truck operator required.
· Must provide references to verify operator’s experience.
· Must be open to general labour such as loading/unloading, shrink wrapping pallets, palletizing.
· Must be able to manually move and stack material up to 25 kg.
· Must be able to handle numbers and do basic math.
· Must be able to recognize conditions or situations that would have a negative impact on customer service or facility operations and take appropriate follow-up actions.
· Mechanical aptitude is seen as an asset.
· Wear personal protection Equipment (PPE) and follow all safety procedures as outlined in the KTN Safety Manual and OSHA regulations.
· Must be able to read, write, and speak the English language.
· Work environment: In person indoor and outdoor (extreme weather conditions).
· Must be able to work in a close team environment
· Be on time and ready to work at the start of the shift.
· Must have a high standard for quality.
· Maintain a clean and organized work area and equipment.
· Must be able to work other than normal scheduled hours, may include evenings, weekends and/or holidays in accordance to the needs of the business.
· Ability to perform assigned work tasks with little to no supervision.
· Must be able to perform assigned tasks, in a sometimes-high stress, fast paced environment.
