Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dishwasher to join our team. Responsibilities
- Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment using appropriate cleaning methods
- Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations and ensure proper storage of cleaned items
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks as needed, including organizing supplies and ingredients
- Support the kitchen team in maintaining overall cleanliness and organization of the food prep area
- Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
- Manage waste disposal and recycling processes efficiently
- Assist with other kitchen duties as assigned by supervisors to ensure smooth operation
Skills
- Experience in cleaning and sanitation procedures within a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred
- Knowledge of food handling safety standards and hygiene practices
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Basic understanding of kitchen operations, including food preparation and serving practices
- Strong teamwork skills with the ability to follow instructions accurately
- Prior experience in restaurant, hotel, or food service industries is a plus but not required
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate loads (up to 50 pounds) as needed
