The Opportunity

- Support accurate financial reporting, compliance, and business performance.

Key ResponsibilitiesAccounting & Financial Reporting
- Perform full-cycle accounting, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, journal entries, and general ledger maintenance.
- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes.
- Prepare account reconciliations and supporting schedules.
- Ensure financial transactions are recorded accurately and in a timely manner.
- Assist in preparing monthly financial statements and internal management reports.
Payroll & Compliance
- Support payroll processing and payroll reconciliations.
- Maintain accurate financial records in accordance with accounting standards and company policies.
- Assist with GST, payroll remittances, and other regulatory reporting requirements.
- Support year-end audit preparation and provide documentation to external accountants as required.
Operational Support
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow reporting.
- Support job costing, project tracking, and financial analysis.
- Collaborate with operations and project teams to ensure accurate financial information.
- Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and administrative efficiency.
General Accounting
- Maintain organized accounting records and documentation.
- Assist with financial analysis and special projects as required.
- Respond to internal accounting inquiries and provide support across departments.
- Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
- 2–5 years of accounting experience, preferably in an industrial, construction, or project-based environment.
- Working knowledge of full-cycle accounting principles.
- Experience with accounting software and payroll systems.
- Strong Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office skills.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Professional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
