Scope
To efficiently provide quality and timely workmanship in maintaining and improving machine capabilities in support of Ultramet’s tool and part delivery commitments.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Maintain and follow the systems in place that are defined by the management staff.
- Provide mechanical maintenance and repair services for the company plant/equipment.
- Maintain, improve, repair, or modify equipment as instructed in a professional, cost-efficient manner
- Record all work assignments in the CMMS in a timely manner for costing.
- Assist in the development of preventative and predictive maintenance.
- Advise of further work if required on project and monitor status of spare parts for maintenance management disposition.
- Continuous personal improvement when time permits.
- Learn all aspects of maintenance as to improve the effectiveness of the overall department.
- Servicing machines/equipment effectively for on-time delivery of products.
- Develop an understanding of relevant Quality Management Systems
Qualifications and Skills
- Maintenance Mechanic / Millwright license, or recognized completion of millwright apprenticeship and or 5 years related successful hands-on trade experience servicing like equipment.
- Must be able to read, write legibly, speak, and understand English and to document stipulated records as instructed.
