Job Summary
We are seeking a professional, welcoming, and highly organized Hotel Front Desk Agent to join our team. This role is essential in delivering exceptional guest service, supporting daily hotel operations, and ensuring a smooth and efficient front‑desk experience. The ideal candidate will have strong computer skills, excellent communication abilities, and previous experience in hospitality or customer‑facing administrative roles. Duties
- Greet guests promptly and professionally upon arrival and departure
- Manage multi‑line phone systems, handle inquiries, and direct calls appropriately
- Process check‑ins, check‑outs, reservations, and guest requests using hotel management software
- Accurately handle data entry, guest information, and payment processing
- Maintain organized filing systems and ensure proper documentation of guest records
- Assist with daily administrative tasks including email correspondence, scheduling, and reporting
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest questions, concerns, and issues efficiently
- Ensure the front desk and lobby area remain clean, tidy, and welcoming
- Perform clerical duties such as proofreading documents, managing mail, and maintaining office supplies
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance to ensure room readiness and resolve guest needs
- Support billing, invoicing, and basic bookkeeping tasks as required
Skills
- Proven experience with Microsoft Office and hotel management systems (Opera, PMS, or similar)
- Strong computer skills with proficiency in data entry, filing, and document management
- Previous hotel front desk or hospitality experience preferred
- Excellent customer service skills with professional phone etiquette
- Ability to manage multi‑line phone systems and high guest traffic
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy in typing and proofreading
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast‑paced hotel environment
- Experience with payment processing or bookkeeping is an asset
- Knowledge of hotel operations, reservations, and guest service standards is advantageous
- Effective written and verbal communication skills to support guest interactions and administrative tasks
Pay: $17.20-$18.65 per hour
