About Us:
Cuteness Overloaded Childcare is a new licensed childcare facility that offers a safe, nurturing, and play-based learning environment for children. We are seeking passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Educator or Early Childhood Infant Toddler Educator (ECE IT) to join our team.
Wage:
- Infant & Toddler Educator (ECE IT): $26–$29/hour (including wage enhancement)
- Early Childhood Educator (ECE) : $25–$28/hour (including wage enhancement)
Responsibilities:
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment.
- Provide individualized care and guidance to meet each child’s needs.
- Create and maintain daily routines (feeding, diapering, toileting, napping) for infants and toddlers as required.
- Observe, monitor, and document children’s growth and developmental progress.
- Support the development of social, emotional, cognitive, and physical skills.
- Encourage positive behavior through modeling, guidance, and consistency.
- Communicate effectively with parents about children’s daily experiences, routines, and milestones.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a positive and professional team environment.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom at all times.
Requirements:
- Valid BC License to Practice as an ECE IT .
- Current First Aid/CPR certification.
- Clear Criminal Record Check from the Ministry of Justice.
- 3 positive references.
- Previous experience working with children in an educational or childcare setting.
