Top Hand Supplies, a locally owned raw pet food and treat manufacturer in Cranbrook, BC, is looking for a dependable and hard-working Warehouse Associate to join our team. This position plays a key role in supporting day-to-day warehouse operations, including receiving, organizing, and preparing products for distribution.We are a small, hands-on team, so we’re looking for someone who is adaptable, willing to learn, and ready to help wherever needed. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, works well with others, and is comfortable in a fast-paced, physically active environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments for accuracy and quality.
- Organize, stock, and rotate inventory in designated warehouse and freezer locations.
- Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment according to company standards.
- Safely load and unload pallets, boxes, and other materials.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment (training provided if required).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
- Follow all company policies, food safety standards, and workplace health and safety procedures.
- Assist with inventory counts, stock replenishment, and inventory accuracy.
- Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to ensure efficient daily warehouse operations.
- Support other warehouse and production tasks as required to meet business needs.
Working Conditions
- Cold, wet, and humid environments (freezers & coolers)
- Physically demanding work (standing, lifting, walking on concrete or wet surfaces)
- Fast-paced, team-driven warehouse setting
- Working directly with pallets, stocking boxes, freezers and palletizing
Qualifications & Skills
- Class 5 driver's license
- Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, shipping/receiving, or general labour role is considered an asset.
- Forklift certification is an asset but not required; training is available for the right candidate.
- Strong attention to detail with a willingness to learn and adapt.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to follow directions and work independently or as part of a team.
- Comfortable working in cold environments and handling raw food products.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
Pay: $21.00-$25.00 per hour
