Bring your experience in surveying to the Ministry of Natural Resources, Office of the Surveyor General, where you will review a variety of plans of survey submitted for approval, and provide technical expertise to the Province's Crown land initiatives.

In this role, you will:
- review Crown survey plans
- communicate directly with professional Ontario Land Surveyors regarding the plan reviews
- prepare legal descriptions for land dispositions and regulations
- carry out survey and title document research
- organize material for survey-related contracts and projects
- You have demonstrated knowledge of the principles and techniques of cadastral surveying including equipment, procedures, computations, datums, coordinate systems and title interpretation to review, analyze and evaluate survey submissions.
- You have working knowledge of relevant legislation and case law to evaluate and ensure compliance with legislative requirements and ensure consistency in the application of cadastral surveying methods, regulations and standards. (Surveys Act, Surveyors Act, the Mining Act, the Public Lands Act, the Registry Act, the Land Titles Act, the Beds of Navigable Waters Act and regulations thereunder)
- You have proven analytical, research, and organization skills to conduct reviews and analysis and identify and resolve problems with survey products.
- You have the ability to prioritize competing demands and to work independently in planning and implementing tasks to meet client requirements.
- You have demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills to exchange technical information, resolve conflicts with clients, and prepare reports, descriptions and correspondence on survey-related matters.
- You are proficient using software such as AutoCAD and ArcGIS.
- You are proficient using common office productivity software for word processing, email, reports, presentations, internet, etc.
