Job Title: Massage Therapist
Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our team. As a Massage Therapist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional massage therapy services to our clients, promoting relaxation, pain relief, and overall well-being.
Responsibilities:
- Perform various types of massages including Swedish, deep tissue, hot stone, and aromatherapy massages
- Assess clients' needs and recommend appropriate massage techniques
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the massage rooms and common areas
- Educate clients on the benefits of regular massage therapy
- Adhere to all safety and sanitation protocols
- Keep accurate client records and notes
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Massage Therapist
- Proficient in medical terminology related to massage therapy
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong attention to detail and time management abilities
- Certification or license as a Massage Therapist (CMTO)
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Knowledge of different massage modalities
- Experience in spa or wellness center settings
- Additional certifications in specialized massage techniques
