We are seeking a motivated and energetic Stock Associate to join our team at the Medicine Hat Mall location. This role is vital in ensuring our store remains well-stocked, organized, and inviting for customers. Duties
- Receive, unload, and organize incoming merchandise efficiently and accurately
- Restock shelves and displays to ensure product availability and visual appeal
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of stock areas, including backrooms and storage spaces
- Assist with merchandising efforts by setting up displays and ensuring product placement aligns with store standards
- Support cashiering activities by preparing merchandise for checkout and assisting customers when needed
- Perform routine maintenance tasks to keep the stock area safe, clean, and functional
Skills
- Proven experience in retail sales or stockroom operations
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable attitude
- Bilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse customer needs effectively
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with team members and assisting customers
- Knowledge of merchandising principles to enhance product presentation
- Capable of cleaning, organizing, and maintaining stock areas efficiently
- Basic cashiering skills for processing transactions when required
- Good organizational skills to manage inventory accurately and efficiently
