Registered Behaviour Technician (RBT) / Behaviour Therapist

About the Role
B&S Consultants is seeking dedicated Registered Behaviour Technicians / Behaviour Therapists to deliver high‑quality Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) services. Under the supervision of a Board‑Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA), you will implement individualized treatment plans, teach skill‑building programs, and support children with autism, Down Syndrome, and other developmental disabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement ABA programs as directed by a BCBA
- Prepare teaching materials and follow session plans
- Teach skills in communication, self‑care, social interaction, and managing challenging behaviors
- Support behaviour regulation and run structured learning trials
- Build rapport through child‑led, play‑based engagement
- Collect accurate data and complete session notes
- Maintain ongoing communication with supervisor
- Practice within your competency level
Qualifications
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Experience with neurodiverse children (asset)
- Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle
- Clear criminal record & vulnerable sector check
- First Aid & CPR certification
- Ability to manage challenging behaviours
- Energetic, kind, and eager to learn
- Good team player
- Willingness to learn and positive attitude to corrective feedback
Education (Any of the following)
- RBT training (or willingness to complete)
- Early Childhood Education, Disability Support, Youth Care
- Bachelor’s degree in psychology, education, social work, or related field
Schedule & Employment
- Part‑time and full‑time positions
- Full‑time staff begin part‑time during training
- Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM– 4.30 PM
- Single‑site location
