Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeyperson Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in electrical work, including the ability to read blueprints and schematics, and will be proficient in using various power tools. This role involves working on a variety of projects, including renovations and new builds, with a focus on both high and low voltage systems.
Minimum 3 year experience as a Electrical Journeyperson.
Duties
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the layout of electrical systems.
- Perform service swaps and work with switchgear systems.
- Utilize power tools and hand tools effectively for installation and repairs.
- Conduct troubleshooting to identify electrical issues and implement solutions.
- Renovate existing electrical systems to meet current standards and codes.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople as needed to complete projects efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and standards while performing duties.
- Be prepared for out-of-town work, demonstrating self-sufficiency and adaptability.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a journeyperson.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, including low voltage applications.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical documents accurately.
- Experience with service swaps and switchgear systems is required.
- Familiarity with industrial electrical work is a plus.
- Proficient in the use of power tools and hand tools related to electrical work.
- Excellent understanding and application of the electrical code book.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a logical approach to troubleshooting.
- Self-sufficient and reliable, with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $36.00-$54.00 per hour
