Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist with their shopping needs, providing exceptional customer service at all times
- Restock shelves with merchandise, ensuring products are neatly organized and visually appealing
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately for transactions, including cash handling and processing payments
- Pack customer purchases carefully to prevent damage and ensure quick checkout processes
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sales floor, stockroom, and packing areas
- Assist with inventory management through product merchandising and stock counts
- Upsell additional products or services to enhance customer satisfaction and store sales performance
- Packing products correctly.
Skills
- Excellent communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customers
- Previous retail sales or customer service experience preferred, especially in fast-paced environments
- Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling, and basic math for accurate transactions
- Strong organizational skills to manage stocking, packing, and merchandising tasks efficiently
- Ability to multitask effectively while maintaining attention to detail
- Time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy periods
- Friendly phone etiquette for assisting customers over the phone when needed
- Knowledge of product demos or technical sales is advantageous for engaging customers about features and benefits
