Pool Technician
Location: Tri- City ( Coquitlam, Port Moody, Burnaby & New Westminster)
Job Type: Full-Time / Part-Time
Looking for a dependable and hardworking Pool Technician to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining swimming pools and spa systems, ensuring water quality, and providing exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine pool cleaning and maintenance including vacuuming, brushing,skimming and backwashing.
- Test and balance pool water chemistry and apply necessary chemical adjustments.
- Document work performed, chemical readings, and recommendations after each visit.
- Inspect, troubleshoot, and maintain pool equipment
- Clean filters, skimmer baskets, and pump systems
- Identify and report equipment issues or repair needs
- Maintain accurate service records
- Provide professional and friendly customer service
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Self-motivated, dependable, and able to work independently
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and carry equipment and supplies
- Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated
- Previous pool service experience is an asset but not required (training available)
