Valoroso Foods is a well-established food importer and distributor with company-owned warehouses and retail locations in BC.
We are a united team who shares a passion for food and the dedication to customer service. Our wholesale division is fast-paced and we are looking for the right individual to join our team in the position of Order Picker.
Job description and duties:
- Order picking
- Preparing orders for delivery or shipping out
- Inventory control - taking inventory and working closely with supervisors and departments to manage all product needs on a first in first out basis
-deliveries may be necessary as needed (ability to drive a delivery truck will be considered an asset)
Candidates must have the following skills:
- Valid Fork-lift license
- Valid driver’s license
- Comfortable handling food
- Attention to detail
- Good communication skills and quick learner
- Great customer service skills
- In good health and physically fit and able to lift up to 25kg (55lb)
Previous experience in the food industry, warehouses, grocery stores and/or kitchen environment is a bonus as food handling is a large part of the daily tasks but transferable skills will also be considered as a plus.
