Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled RMT - Registered Massage Therapist to join our wellness team at. Stunning downtown Toronto clinic. We have Doctor referrals waiting. Choose hourly pay or earn a split from every patien. The ideal candidate will provide professional massage services to clients, promoting relaxation, pain relief, and overall well-being. This role requires excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of medical terminology, and a dedication to delivering exceptional customer service. The RMT will create a calming environment and tailor treatments to meet individual client needs, ensuring a positive experience that encourages repeat visits.
Responsibilities
- Perform professional massage therapy sessions tailored to client needs, utilizing various techniques such as Swedish, deep tissue, or sports massage.
- Assess clients' physical conditions and discuss their wellness goals to recommend appropriate treatments.
- Maintain detailed and accurate client records, including treatment plans and progress notes.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and relaxing environment for clients before, during, and after sessions.
- Educate clients on post-treatment care and wellness practices to enhance their overall health.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including proper sanitation and hygiene standards.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their concerns and provide personalized care.
- Stay current with industry trends and continuing education to improve skills and expand treatment offerings.
Requirements
- Valid Registered Massage Therapy license or certification as required.
- Knowledge of medical terminology related to anatomy, physiology, and pathology.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse clients.
- Excellent communication skills for explaining treatment procedures and addressing client questions or concerns.
- Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality at all times.
- Prior experience in a clinical or spa setting is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided if necessary.
