Overview
We are looking for a dedicated, team‑oriented Dental Assistant to join our close‑knit, family‑focused practice in Leduc. As a solo‑dentist, one‑assistant clinic, we rely on strong communication, mutual support, and a shared commitment to delivering outstanding patient care.
The ideal candidate is adaptable, organized, and confident managing multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment. Experience with Dentrix or other dental software is an asset but not required. Familiarity with Endodontics, Crown and Bridge, Composite restorations, Invisalign, pediatrics, and all aspects of General Dentistry is highly valued.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments to maintain a safe, efficient workflow
- Assist the dentist during a wide range of procedures, including general and pediatric treatments
- Take and develop digital radiographs
- Accurately manage patient records using dental software (Dentrix experience is an asset)
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post‑treatment care
- Support administrative tasks such as scheduling and timely entry of treatment plans
- Maintain strict infection control standards and a clean clinical environment
- Assist with inventory management and ordering of dental supplies
- Contribute to a positive, supportive team atmosphere by stepping in wherever needed
Experience & Qualifications
- Previous dental assisting experience preferred; motivated new graduates with strong work or life experience will be considered
- Knowledge of dental terminology and general dental procedures
- Experience with digital x‑ray systems is an advantage
- Ability to take and pour physical impressions
- Strong understanding of infection control and patient care protocols
- Excellent communication skills with patients of all ages and fellow team members
- A collaborative mindset and willingness to contribute to a supportive, team‑driven environment
Hours of Work
- Monday & Thursday: 7:00 AM – 2:45 PM
- Tuesday & Wednesday: 12:00 PM – 7:45 PM
(Hours may vary seasonally)
