Job Overview: Norco Modular is looking for a skilled and dedicated Exterior Finisher for Modular Buildings at our Aldergrove factory. The ideal candidates will have experience in exterior finishing, including installing flashings, siding, EPDM roofing, cladding, soffit, Tyvek, and Hardi and will be capable of finishing the exterior of Modular buildings to a high standard. This role requires attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work well within a team.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Cut, shape and install exterior cladding, including corrugated, Mesa, and other types of siding on modular buildings in a factory environment.
- Install flashings for windows, doors, starter/set, fascia and termination points.
- Install rubber roofing (EPDM), Blueskin, and exterior building paper.
- Install exterior windows and apply sealants as needed.
- Safely and efficiently operate hand and power tools such as brake, shears, nibblers, aviation snips and punches.
- Installing siding on modular units.
Experience/Requirements:
- Installing flashings and metal trim accessories.
- Exterior siding such as steel cladding, flashing, vinyl soffits, Hardi panel, etc.
Assets:
- EPDM Install experience
- First Aid
Norco’s work schedules:
- Day shift: 6am – 2:30pm, Monday to Friday
- Afternoon shift: 2:30pm – 1am, Monday to Thursday
*NO WEEKEND WORK AT NORCO*
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $20.00-$35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
