Job Summary
CHISLETT ASPHALT ROOFING LTD is seeking an experienced Flat Roofer to join our growing Service Department. We are looking for a reliable, safety-conscious professional with strong troubleshooting and repair skills who takes pride in delivering quality workmanship and excellent customer service.
Duties
- Diagnose and repair leaks on commercial and industrial flat roofing systems.
- Perform maintenance, service calls, and emergency roof repairs.
- Inspect roofs and identify deficiencies, damage, and repair requirements.
- Work with various roofing systems including modified bitumen, BUR, EPDM, TPO, PVC, and metal flashings.
- Complete service reports, photographs, and documentation accurately.
- Communicate professionally with customers, property managers, and team members.
- Follow all company safety policies and industry best practices.
- Assist with preventive maintenance programs and small roofing projects as required.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a flat roofer or in related construction roles, with a strong understanding of roofing systems
- Strong knowledge of commercial roofing systems and repair methods.
- Ability to diagnose roofing issues and provide effective solutions.
- Comfortable working at heights and in various weather conditions.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Valid driver’s license preferred for site access and material transportation
