The Westin Bear Mountain Resort & Spa is seeking positive, detail-oriented individuals to join our Housekeeping team as Full/Part time Room Attendants and Housepersons. Our Housekeeping team plays a vital role in creating a welcoming and comfortable experience for our guests by ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation throughout the resort.
About the position
Housekeeping Room Attendant
Room Attendants are responsible for cleaning and maintaining guest rooms to the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation, ensuring a comfortable and memorable stay for every guest.
Houseperson
Housepersons support the housekeeping operation by maintaining public areas, delivering supplies, and assisting Room Attendants to ensure efficient daily operations.
Key Responsibilities
Room Attendant
- Clean guest rooms, bathrooms, and suites according to hotel standards
- Change bed linens and make beds neatly and efficiently
- Vacuum carpets, dust furniture, and sanitize surfaces
- Replenish guest room amenities, towels, and supplies
- Report maintenance issues or safety concerns promptly
- Ensure guest rooms meet brand cleanliness and presentation standards
- Maintain carts and housekeeping storage areas in an organized manner
- Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines
Houseperson
- Clean and maintain public areas including hallways, elevators, and lobby areas
- Deliver linens, amenities, and supplies to Room Attendants
- Remove garbage and recycling from housekeeping areas
- Assist with furniture movement and special cleaning projects
- Support the housekeeping team to maintain efficient operations
- Ensure storage areas and service corridors remain clean and organized

Qualifications
- Prior hotel experience preferred
- Proficiency in cleaning techniques
- Strong hospitality skills
- Experience in industrial cleaning or custodial work is a plus
- Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and a strong work ethic
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $21.00 per hour
