Job Overview
We are currently looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual for a Mechanical Estimator position at our North York office
Duties
- Performing accurate take offs manually and/or using electronic estimating software for Plumbing & HVAC work
- Read, analyze and review bid packages/requirement/specifications
- Assist in preparing tender submissions and obtaining tender documents
- Coordination with sub-contractors and suppliers to ensure timely bid submissions and accurate quotations
- Prioritizing work based on tender timelines
- Attending site visits if required
- Maintain good relationship with the Client, General contractors, Consultants & suppliers
Requirements
- Basic understanding of Mechanical construction work
- Read and interpret engineering drawings
- Ability to work under pressure and adaptable to change
- Strong computer skills in areas such as Microsoft Excel, Word, Online take off etc.
- Excellent communication and written skills
- Excellent planning and time management skills
** On job training would be provided as required
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $18.00-$45.00 per hour
Work Location: In person
