We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our culinary team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals and ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and cooking, with a commitment to food safety and excellent service.
Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients for cooking, including washing, chopping, and measuring food items.
- Cook menu items according to recipes and presentation standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including workstations and storage areas.
- Follow food safety guidelines to ensure the highest quality of meals.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal service.
- Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and report shortages to management.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations in the kitchen environment.
Skills
- Proficient in food preparation techniques and cooking methods.
