Successful Candidates must:
- Be well groomed, well-spoken and be able to deal with each situation in a manner that takes care of our customer.
- Be able bodied for the safe loading of our 5 ton delivery vehicles (up to 70 lbs). Tandem lifting is always first priority.
- Use safety in all aspects of their daily routine and as a part of their due diligence is required to do so at all times.
- Be an individual whom has a passion for going above and beyond for our valued customers.
- Be an individual that has a great attitude towards continuous, positive change and improvement of working routines/methods.
- Be an ambassador of change and lean processing
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Inspecting and wrapping furniture for delivery, pick up or ship out
- Minor repairs of various types of furniture
- Interact with customers and reconcile paperwork for orders
- Take various forms of payment
- Time management skills a must
- Work with the team to maintain our high standards and goals
- You will be cross trained into other warehouse positions including service repairs, delivery assistant (delivering furniture to customers homes)
- Weekend shifts required.
