Position Details
Schedule: Approximately 10 days per month based on business needs, vacation coverage, and sick coverage
- Weekend availability required
- Closed on all STAT holidays
Position Overview
As a CSR / Storage Consultant, you will be the face of our company, helping create a positive and professional experience for every customer. You’ll assist prospects and tenants with storage solutions, conduct facility tours, complete rentals, and help maintain a clean and inviting facility.
We are looking for someone with open availability, strong customer service skills, and the ability to work independently.
A valid BC Driver’s License and reliable vehicle are required, as commuting to the location can be difficult during inclement weather.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers in person and over the phone with a warm, professional attitude
- Conduct tours of the facility and explain storage options and features
- Build relationships with prospects and tenants
- Provide accurate pricing and service information
- Complete rental agreements, move-ins, and move-outs
- Maintain office and facility cleanliness and organization
- Follow company policies and uphold security standards
- Use computerized systems to manage reservations and customer accounts
- Support occupancy, sales, and customer service goals
- Assist with coverage during busy periods, vacations, and sick calls
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous face-to-face customer service experience required
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office and basic computer applications
- Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Self-motivated and able to work independently and within a team environment
- Valid BC Driver’s License and reliable vehicle required
